Gary Wagner Memorial GALLERY
Gary Wagner put line drawings in his notebooks, designed puzzles, and painted with watercolors and colored pens. Jerry Baker helped select and compile samples into a small booklet to give Gary's friends at his memorial service. The art and poetry reflect Gary's many moods and visions.
The memorial display at the Potter's Studio in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park also included photographs of Gary and his many many good friends, spanning twenty of his 35 years.
The last pictures, while not pretty, honestly portray the horrible havoc AIDS wreaked on his physical form.
