INTRODUCTIONGALLERY

The purpose of this site is

  1. to create a community of people tranforming grief and loss into contribution and joyful participation in life.
  2. to show art created by artists who died of AIDS, artists who are surviving AIDS, and their loved ones and families.
  3. to share the art in the public domain where it can be transformed, used, enjoyed, and celebrated.
  4. to increase awareness of the scope of the artistic expression lost as a result of AIDS.

The content of the site will be graphic art work, drawings, paintings, photography and writings such as short stories, poems, and articles, as well as audio and video works. You are invited to contribute unpublished work, and work that was distributed but not commercially sold.

This site is a living place, a virtual play space where art can be posted, downloaded, shared and put to use. Come and play!
